Community Update Wednesday Endana, Kenya

When we first arrived in Endana, there was an existing water tank a few kilometers outside of the community in an area called Mbogoini; this water tank was in disrepair and abandoned. We are happy to say that in the past year, the water tank has been renovated and water is ready to be distributed. The project is winding down the distribution phase and the community has begun trenching and placing pipes from the main water tank in Endana to the Mbogoini tank.

The 410 Bridge would like to thank everyone who participated in our 2012 Christmas Livestock Campaign. The distribution is in full swing. The community of Endana has purchased sheep, goats and cows and have recently distributed those animals to families of children with special needs. The animals will give these families a long term income opportunity that will allow them to provide for their families and children’s needs.
