Remembering Pastor Julius Gitathi

We wanted to send an update to all of our trip participants and people who are investing in and are praying for the community of Kiria, that Julius Gitathi, a member of the Leadership Council has passed away. Below is a note from our Kenyan staff…

“It is with sadness that we inform you that one of the LC members from Kiria, Julius Gitahi, passed away. He was also one of the local pastors and a member of the Kiria Pastors Fellowship. Several of the 410 Kenya staff attended his funeral, and Samson, our Discipleship Coordinator, lead the service. Please pray for Julius’ family and our friends in Kiria as they mourn the loss of one of their pastors and leaders.”
