And the glory of the Lord will be revealed.

As we draw near to the end of this first day of December – a month that holds so much HOPE for us who believe – we are in AWE.

You see, today was a day specifically designated – #GivingTuesday it’s named – the day following our nation’s popular shopping holidays… and to honestly admit, we weren’t quite sure if anyone would be up for participation. BUT GOD… He put a request on our hearts, a really simple one, that came at the last minute to us, yet not to Him. He knew long before that it would be a day of faith building for The 410 Bridge in this season of year end giving, especially as we prepare to enter our TENTH year of ministry.

Our goal to raise $25,000 today has simply been to serve as invitation for all of us. To come TOGETHER on this day, and celebrate all that God is doing through The 410 Bridge in the U.S., Kenya, Haiti and Uganda. We wanted to inspire people to give out of a heart of cheerfulness, and set a goal to encourage us all as we join forces to deepen our impact in the 42 communities where we serve.

UPDATE: as of December 1, just before midnight, our goal was exceeded by generous donors who gave a total of $25,280!

This goal is also being matched one for one – meaning it will be doubled!

Tonight, as we end this day of excitement and joy to watch God show UP through His people – YOU – we are humbled, grateful, encouraged on this journey, and most of all AMAZED at His faithfulness. You’ve come alongside us and put a fresh wind in our sails – to believe God for the immeasurably more, and to taste and see His goodness. We don’t know how in the world we’ll ever thank you enough, but we intend to thank God for your gifts daily, and pray they will be multiplied over and over. We trust that they will.

What a beautiful way to enter this season of Advent and Christmas – we will continue to thank God in advance for His unexpected blessings.

We love you, friends. Know that we are thankful and glad you’re on this journey with us. Today we stand TOGETHER as one in Christ – and His glory is being revealed because of it.

“For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.” [2 Corinthians 8:12]

Whatever amount you were able to give today, we know God sees your willingness, and He loves a cheerful giver.

Transforming Communities from Within

In the rural communities of San Antonio Huista and Unión Cantinil, Guatemala, many families live day by day without the tools to plan for the future. Saving is not common—not because people are unwilling, but because they have never been taught how. A Childhood at Risk

Deep in the mountains of the municipality of Unión Cantinil, Guatemala, in communities like Las Lomas and Villa Linda, more than just classes are being lost. At stake is the dignity of childhood, struggling to learn under conditions no one should accept as normal.

Children arrive at school hungry and tired. Parents, though giving their all, often cannot help with homework because they themselves had limited educational opportunities. Overcrowded classrooms, too few teachers, and a system that struggles to respond make learning an uphill battle.
