Connecting your Story to Theirs: Text Books for Kawamaitha

This past summer, a trip participant who went to Kawamaitha Primary School in Karima Kenya left with a burden to raise funds for textbooks at this school. The priority of the school was to work down from Grade 8. The initial funds he raised purchased the books the kids needed to prepare for their KCPE National Exam.

According to our community representative, “Kawamaitha primary school class 8 was all joy on receiving all…I mean ALL.. the revision books they ever needed. This is something too big for them to believe because not even many private schools have all those books.”
