Two years ago, in a small community in Guatemala, a group of women and two gentlemen took a bold step of faith. They didn’t have a business plan or financial background. What they had was a shared desire—for something different, something better. They wanted to grow. They wanted to believe. And most of all, they wanted to act on their faith.
That’s how Los Jazmines was born.

At first, it was a simple savings group, supported by 410 Bridge. A place where members could learn to manage money and build a safety net. But it didn’t stay simple for long. It quickly transformed into something much deeper—a place of prayer, discipleship, encouragement, and miracles.
A Space Where Faith Is Lived
Each meeting of Los Jazmines is more than just a ledger of deposits. It’s a sacred space. A space to pray, to share the Word of God, to encourage one another, and to give thanks. For this group, faith isn’t just something you talk about—it’s something you live, breathe, and act upon.
“We don’t come here just to save. We come because together, we meet with God. He is the center of everything we do.”
One powerful moment came when a member asked for prayer for her sister-in-law, who urgently needed surgery. The group gathered around her in prayer, believing together for healing. Soon after, her health began to improve.
“We know it was God. But we also know that when we pray together, something powerful happens.”
The group began to realize something that has since become foundational: united prayer is an unstoppable force.
Learning, Growing, and Multiplying
In Scripture, the parable of the talents became their inspiration. They learned that when placed in God’s hands, even a little can multiply.

In their first savings cycle, they raised around $7,000 USD. In their second cycle? Over $10,500. They’ve invested those funds in egg-laying hens, small businesses, candy shops, pharmacies, fruit stands, and even the completion of home construction.
But it’s not just about the money. It’s about purpose.
“Cash in hand disappears. But when we save with purpose, it grows. And for us, that’s a miracle.”
They’ve learned to prioritize, to steward, to say “yes” to what builds and “no” to what drains. Every quetzal now has direction and meaning. Saving has become a tool for entrepreneurship, for dreaming, and for building a better future.
The Deeper Transformation
Still, the greatest change hasn’t been financial. It’s been spiritual.
Members say they’ve grown in confidence, strengthened relationships, deepened their faith, and discovered their identity in Christ. Though they come from different denominations, they’re unified by the same God—and they feel His presence in every meeting.
“Jesus is our rock. That’s why we stand firm, together, and in peace.”
Los Jazmines has become a powerful testimony in the community. Their values of transparency, discipline, fellowship, and trust have inspired others to join and start their own groups. What once was a small step of faith has become a movement of hope.
A Journey of Unity, Trust, and Perseverance
As they close their second savings cycle, the emotions run deep. They’ve accomplished more than they ever imagined—paying off debts, launching businesses, growing spiritually, and walking hand in hand with God every step of the way.
“Everything is done in the open. There are no secrets here. Only faith, unity… and commitment.”
