Sponsor a Child in the Dominican Republic for the First Time with 410 Bridge!

We have an exciting announcement — for the very first time, you can now sponsor a child in the Dominican Republic through 410 Bridge!

Child sponsorship has always been at the heart of what we do. It’s not just about giving — it’s about walking alongside a child as they discover their potential and begin to see themselves as part of the solution to poverty. It’s about encouragement, relationship, and hope. And now, this life-changing opportunity is expanding into the Dominican Republic.

Meet the Community of Las Malvinas

Las Malvinas, founded in 1981, is a resilient community of 4,700 people located in the heart of the Dominican Republic, now considered part of the town of Hato Mayor del Rey. The people here are no strangers to adversity — but they are also no strangers to perseverance and unity. Local churches and institutions come together to provide shelter in times of natural disaster, and neighbors support one another relentlessly.

Many of the children in Las Malvinas — including Haitian refugee children — face daily challenges, from limited access to education and healthcare to uncertain futures. But together, we can help change that.

What Happens When You Sponsor a Child?

When you sponsor a child through 410 Bridge, you’re not just meeting immediate needs — you’re investing in long-term transformation.

Your sponsorship provides:

  • Guaranteed school enrollment and access to quality education
  • Health monitoring and feeding programs when needed
  • Opportunities to learn about Jesus and grow spiritually through discipleship programming
  • Ongoing encouragement and relationship-building through letters, prayers, and stories you share with your sponsor child

Each community we serve is unique, and so is each sponsorship program. We work to design programs that honor each community’s strengths and meet their specific challenges. In Las Malvinas, that means supporting children — including Haitian refugees — with the tools and resources they need to build a brighter future.

Why Now?

Thanks to the partnership between 410 Bridge and Mission: Hope, we’re expanding our reach and impact, opening doors for you to make a difference in more places than ever before — in Kenya, Guatemala, and now the Dominican Republic.

We couldn’t do this without you. Your generosity changes lives.

Will You Take the Next Step?

This is your opportunity to be part of something new and meaningful — to change a child’s life and walk alongside them on their journey.

Because every child deserves the chance to thrive.

Why Our New Kiu Case Study Matters

Seeing real, long-term transformation is the heart of why we do community development. It’s one thing to launch programs or build infrastructure, but it’s entirely another to watch a community continue to grow and thrive on its own after we step back.

That’s why we now have a new Kiu case study — to show what sustainable, community-led development looks like when it really works.
