Hope That Multiplies: A Christmas Season of Lasting Change

This Christmas season, we’re celebrating a simple truth. When God plants hope, it doesn’t remain small. It grows, it strengthens, and it multiplies. Through your generosity, that hope is taking root in every country we serve.

Here are some beautiful stories of how hope is multiplying through sponsorship, clean water projects, church training, farming programs, and health initiatives. These stories reflect the heart of our mission and the impact of your partnership.

Hope in the Life of a Child

For Yowin, a young boy in Guatemala, hope began quietly. It grew through the steady love of his family and the support of a sponsor who believed his future mattered. Weekly tutoring, school supplies, and consistent encouragement have strengthened his confidence. His reading and writing are improving.

His dreams now have room to take root.

This is what sponsorship does. It meets real needs while building pathways for long-term transformation.

It multiplies hope in the life of a child, a family, and ultimately an entire community.

Hope in the Form of Clean Water

In Mugaa, Kenya, families have spent generations walking miles for unsafe water. Children missed school. Farms failed. Scarcity defined daily life. Then this year brought a turning point. Construction on a new clean water project began, and the first stones were laid with joy and anticipation.

For the first time, families can picture safe drinking water close to home. Students can imagine staying in class. Farmers can plant with confidence. What began as a construction site is becoming the foundation of hope that will ripple through Mugaa for years to come.

Hope Rising Through Sustainable Farming

In Guayabo Dulce, Dominican Republic, Pucho worked long days in the sugarcane fields yet struggled to support his family. His dreams felt distant. Then he joined our Passion Fruit Project and everything shifted. With training, steady income, and a growing harvest, he began to regain confidence.

Today he teaches other farmers and shares produce from his garden with neighbors. The hope he received didn’t end with him.

It is spreading throughout his community, creating opportunity and connection that will benefit families for generations.

Hope Strengthening the Local Church

Deep in the jungles of Nicaragua, church leaders from nine remote villages traveled through rain, rivers, and rugged trails to attend Transformation Training. Their journey alone spoke of their hunger for growth. Daily life in their communities is difficult, yet their faith is unwavering.

Over two days, they explored how the Gospel speaks into the challenges around them and how the local church can actively bring hope to their neighbors. When leaders are equipped, entire communities feel the impact. This is hope in action.

A Season for Hope That Grows

This Christmas, we remember that because Christ came, hope took root in the world. Through your partnership, that hope is multiplying in communities across Guatemala, Kenya, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and beyond.

As we work toward our $150,000 Year-End goal, your gift helps fuel Gospel-centered transformation that lasts. Hope doesn’t stop. Hope grows. Hope multiplies.

Join us in helping hope continue to flourish this Christmas season.

Why Our New Kiu Case Study Matters

Seeing real, long-term transformation is the heart of why we do community development. It’s one thing to launch programs or build infrastructure, but it’s entirely another to watch a community continue to grow and thrive on its own after we step back.

That’s why we now have a new Kiu case study — to show what sustainable, community-led development looks like when it really works.
