About Vista Hermosa
Vista Hermosa was once known as “Los Chujes” or a Mayan sauna. In 2005, when the municipality of Cantinil became independent from Chiantla, each community had the opportunity to choose a new name if they’d like.
That’s when “Los Chujes” became Vista Hermosa which means beautiful view because of their beautiful landscapes.
A majority of the community works in masonry, coffee plantations, and vegetable gardening. The people of the community are known to be humble, helpful, and hardworking.
Vista Hermosa has partnered with 410 Bridge since 2017.

The village of Vista Hermosa in the municipality of Unión Cantinil, department of Huehuetenango located in the western highlands of Guatemala.
