Daraja crosses the daraja

As you know, Daraja means “bridge” in Kiswahili. Well, this week, some of our Daraja alumni encountered and overcame a pretty big “daraja” in real life!  While we were at the Kitengela Glass facility, we all crossed a HUGE suspension bridge together. It was pretty amazing to watch these kids get the guts to walk across a massive ravine where you could see the 40 ft drop to the water below.

Not gonna lie, this bridge was pretty scary!

They did a great job and we were able to encourage each other on and celebrate the victory together. I LOVE team building and this was just too awesome 🙂
