Celebration in Kandaria

Friday was a big day in the community of Kandaria, Kenya.

For years community members have struggled to access medical care, pregnant women have often given birth in the bush, and numerous sick and injured people were hauled great distances to receive medical attention.  We are excited to announce that those days are now over…

As of Friday the Kandaria Medical Center officially opened to serve the community.  Members of the community came out in large numbers to celebrate the opening of the clinic, with over 500 people in attendance.  The theme of the dedication service was one of thanksgiving and praise to God for the miracle of the medical clinic.

We would like to thank the community of Kandaria, and our U.S. partners that God used to make this miracle a reality.  Our prayer is that God would use this clinic and the people who serve in it to administer His grace to the people of Kandaria.
