Celebrating Growth and Impact in Kenya

Kenya is buzzing with stories of transformation!

Across our partner communities, families are planting seeds—literally and figuratively—of hope, opportunity, and growth. Your support is changing lives, one community at a time, and we wanted to share updates with you.

Continue reading below to find out how your community is doing!

Tumutumu Community: Ready to Graduate!

Tumutumu has a reason to celebrate this November. After years of dedication, this community is set to graduate, and the best part? No funds are needed to graduate—they are ready to go after wrapping up a few final programs!

Our Business Start-up Trainings, Foundations for Farming program, Living Seed program, sustainability projects, and discipleship programs have all taken root. And the primary school student mentorship program is flourishing!

One standout story is Catherine Muthoni, who transformed her family’s future through skills from the Business Start-up Trainings. From poultry to pig farming and small-scale bull fattening, she now generates enough income to cover her family’s needs and school fees for her children in college—all while serving as the Chairperson of women in her church.

Stories like hers show the lasting impact of your support!

Chembulet Community: Steady Progress

Chembulet continues to grow stronger, with Foundations for Farming and Business Start-up Trainings showing remarkable impact. Sustainability projects, from poultry and pig farming to community savings groups, are empowering families economically. Students are receiving mentorship, school feeding programs are underway, and both primary and secondary schools are benefiting from pastoral programs.

The community is preparing for estimated graduation in July 2026. To fully support this milestone, $50,000 USD is needed.

This will fund education programs, economic development training, discipleship programs, water initiatives, and Leadership Council training—ensuring the community can graduate well-equipped to sustain their growth.

Kahuria Community: Growing Together

Kahuria is seeing exciting progress across all areas! Business Start-up Training and Foundations for Farming are empowering adults to improve their livelihoods, while sustainability projects like sheep and pig rearing are thriving.

Students are enjoying being a part of our mentorship sessions and they have recently given back to the community by planting trees. Schools are progressing on infrastructure, including new classrooms and feeding programs.

Kahuria is on track for estimated graduation in September 2026. To support this, $50,000 USD will cover their final economic development training, education programs, discipleship programs, as well as Leadership Council training.

Ndibai Community: Building a Brighter Future

The community recently completed a solar panel installation, ensuring water access for all villages! Business Start-up Trainings, Foundations for Farming, and Living Seed programs continue to build economic resilience, while students benefit from mentorship programs, sustainability projects, and improved school facilities.

Ndibai’s estimated graduation is November 2026. To reach this milestone, $250,000 USD is needed. These funds will cover their final education costs, economic development training, discipleship programs, water infrastructure project, and Leadership Council training.

Ulu Community: Thriving and Growing

Ulu is a story of determination and innovation. Business Start-up Trainings and Foundations for Farming are equipping adults for small businesses and agricultural success. Living Seed follow-ups and school sustainability projects, including chicken and sheep rearing, are thriving.

The Scripture Union training for parents and teachers is strengthening discipleship, and youth training programs are opening new avenues for engagement and income.

The community also benefited from recent leadership development initiatives like our Leadership Council training, and youth groups forming savings groups to sustain progress.

One inspiring story is Francis Kamuya, 66, who, after losing his job, rediscovered his purpose and faith through training. He’s now establishing a family business, providing meaningful income, and restoring his family relationships.

Transforming Communities from Within

In the rural communities of San Antonio Huista and Unión Cantinil, Guatemala, many families live day by day without the tools to plan for the future. Saving is not common—not because people are unwilling, but because they have never been taught how. Dreams of starting a business, improving a home, or investing in a child’s education often remain out of reach. Children, youth, adults, and elders alike face the reality of limited financial stability and few opportunities to imagine a different path forward.

A Childhood at Risk

Deep in the mountains of the municipality of Unión Cantinil, Guatemala, in communities like Las Lomas and Villa Linda, more than just classes are being lost. At stake is the dignity of childhood, struggling to learn under conditions no one should accept as normal.

Children arrive at school hungry and tired. Parents, though giving their all, often cannot help with homework because they themselves had limited educational opportunities. Overcrowded classrooms, too few teachers, and a system that struggles to respond make learning an uphill battle.
